I currently live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I have lived in eight states and six different regions of this country, and am not a west coast native, though I love it here. I've been happily married since I was 19, have 2 kids out in the world, and one son in college. My husband, my kids and I love to read and love Harry Potter. They are all my favorite betas. I work as a nanny for my niece and nephew who are seven and four years old. Most of my adult life has revolved around children.
This LJ mainly exists to display my fanfiction and provide links to art and stories I enjoy.
I've been an evangelical since I was 16. (Though I have always been a liberal Democrat and currently support Obama.) Don't worry this will probably not play a prominent role on my LJ. I don't think my beliefs are obvious in my writing, though they lie behind my choice of character, plot and theme.
I volunteer a lot at my church and run the ministries that support members who are in difficulties. (Which means I clean houses, cook meals, buy groceries, watch children and run errands for families.) Consequently, I have a lot of friends with severely disabled children. This is one of the reasons I have such a heart for all the Longbottoms.
